The
Tourism Award was contested by many businesses and the citation reads "Peter & Gill Hands have since purchasing the Speech House Hotel in
2010, developed the quality of service, links with the community, and
the welcoming ambience for visitors and residents as well as promoting
the Royal Forest of Dean whenever possible".
Peter
said, "We were delighted to receive this award on behalf of all our
team at the hotel, who have worked so hard to make the Speech House the
premier hotel within the Royal Forest of Dean. We thank everyone for
supporting us and look forward to continuing the development of the
business".
